The history of 6-year-olds of two girls of 12 and 4 years from Lugansk is a vivid confirmation of this fact. Vika and her younger sister were returning from the store when suddenly an angry pit bull attacked the children from the neighboring courtyard. The dog immediately began to gnaw at its victims face. As a result: the disfigured faces of the girls, several transferred operations and … a fine of 102 UAH to the owner of the dog. And all because other penalties for what was done is not stipulated by the legislation.
But now it’s not about punishment for the owner of the pitbull – it’s about the health of girls. It’s been 6 years already, and the injured girls are still being operated on the face. Therefore, they are in great need of financial assistance from outside.

At the weekend, the Dobovo team visited the SOS animal shelter, home to several hundred stray dogs and cats.
